Edward V. Chapman Gone Hunting Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Edward Vernon Chapman, passed away August 22, 2009 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born January 10, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Walter Earl and Elizabeth Victoria Adamson Chapman. Married Linda Coleen North November 5, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He loved all kinds of hunting, fishing, horses and mountain manning. Survived by his wife, and soul mate of 46 years, Linda; daughters: Nancy (Scott) Kent, Teresa (John) Dumas, Elizabeth Thurgood and Jason; son, Thomas Vernon Chapman; 12 grandchildren: Scott, Shawn, Stormy, Adam, Skylar, Casey, John, Anthony, Kaylee, Sierra, Cody, Dustyn; 1 great-grandchild, Destiny and (2 on the way). Funeral services will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where viewings will be held Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services.
