Edward Harris III Ed Edward Douglas Harris III, 41, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away Monday, August 6, 2007. He was born July 10, 1966 in Washington, DC and had resided in Las Vegas for two years. He was a plumber foreman and had served in the US Navy Reserves. Edward went to Afghanistan for a year to help rebuild for the military. He was working and going to school for C.A.D. His trade allowed him to travel the world and to meet many friends along the way that he called his brothers and sisters. He held those friends deep in his heart. The person he held the deepest was his daughter, Jordanne. He lived his life to the fullest and always felt he could do just a little bit more and encouraged others to do the same. Edward was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward Douglas Harris Sr. He is survived by his daughter, Jordanne Angela Harris; mother, Rosalie Harris; father, Edward D. Harris Jr.; sisters: Lisa and Brigette; brothers-in-law: Thomas and JD; nieces: Skye, Dawn and Brynn; nephews: Hunter and Jaden; numerous cousins, uncles and aunties. Edward was a loving father, best friend to his sisters and the best uncle anyone could ask for. When anyone was in need, he was always the first to offer his hand. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a gathering will be held, 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
