   Eleanor B. Abeyta, known to her loved ones as "Nonie," has left a profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life's journey began on January 24, 1938, in Oro Grande, California, and sadly came to a peaceful conclusion on July 31, 2024, in Safford, Arizona.

   Immortalized in the hearts of many, Eleanor dedicated 13 years of her life for the Arizona Rangers. Her unwavering commitment and dedication were truly commendable. Many fondly remember her as honest and outspoken - qualities that set her apart. Beyond her professional achievements, Eleanor's vibrant personality shone through in everything she did. She adored western style and possessed a unique talent for accessorizing - always adding a touch of flair to her ensembles. Gardening, horseback riding, and dancing were not just hobbies for Eleanor; they were expressions of her joyous spirit and zest for life. Eleanor's proudest accomplishments included her involvement in the Arizona Rangers, Search & Rescue missions and her mastery of Karate. These feats exemplified her bravery and strength of character.

    Among those who have preceded Eleanor into eternal rest are her beloved parents Julian and Edelmira, along with her brothers Paul, Tato, Danny, sisters Nellie, Inez, and Lucy - all of whom she cherished deeply.

   Eleanor leaves behind a legacy that will endure through the generations. She is survived by her devoted husband Ramon Abeyta; loving children Katheryn (Rick) Chacon, Carmel Abeyta, Michael Abeyta; Grandchildren Bosco Montez, Rachelle Montez, Ezekiel Ruiz, Edelmira (Daniel) Tavison, Joseph Abeyta; Great-Grandchildren Trystan, Brandiee, Olyvia, Deacon, Ezra, Alec, Ian, Sarah, Chanse (Jaylynn) Rios, Cecilia (Robert) Lopez, Angel Ray, Emilio, Alaya, Harley, Tyrus, Ayva, Isaiah; Great-Great Grandchildren RJ, Cameron, Leo, Ryah; and cherished pet Umo.

   A "Memorial Service" honoring Eleanor's remarkable life will be held on August 10th starting at 2:00 PM at the McDougal Caldwell Funeral Chapel located at 112 East Main Street in Safford Arizona. It will be a time to reflect on the beautiful memories shared with Nonie and celebrate the extraordinary person she was to all who knew her.

   Eleanor B. Abeyta will forever remain in our hearts as an inspiration - a beacon of strength and kindness. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she was loved deeply by many.
