Eleanor Bruce

Eleanor Elizabeth Bruce, 92, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017, at the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center in Safford. She was born on April 24, 1925, in Flint, MI, to Herbert and Irene Fitzgerald. Eleanor graduated from nursing school in 1971 and went on to work as a nurse for 40 years in the O.B. & nursery department for the majority of her nursing years. She assisted with many deliveries for many families over the years and then retired at the age of 80. She was a very loving and giving daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend. She is survived by her son Patrick Bruce of Safford, and daughter Paula Allen of California, 5 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren & 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. A memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
