As a longtime resident of Graham County, Eleanor dedicated her life to those around her. A devoted Catholic, she volunteered at St. Rose of Lima, she volunteered as a court appointed special advocate (CASA) for children and she participated in numerous community events.
Ingrained with the family values she grew up with, she raised her two boys -- John and Eric Martinez -- both of whom eventually became entrepreneurs.
As a sister, aunt and cousin, she was a leader, a caretaker and a problem solver. All in all, Eleanor (Nina) is a Graham County member who will be missed but not forgotten.
