Elijah Michaelis Hooke of Bylas, passed away suddenly at the age of 20 in Globe, AZ on July 15, 2019. He was born July 14, 1999 in Phoenix, AZ to parents Travis Jay Hooke & Holly Ann Victor.
His siblings are Yvonne Lonnie, Elishah & Emily Hooke and Lynessa McIntosh. Elijah graduated from San Carlos High School in 2017 and went on to attend College at San Carlos Technical Institute where earned his Fixed Plants Operations Certificate in 2018. Elijah's longtime companion of 6 years was Araya Wesley. Elijah loved listening to music, going to concerts and most of all skate boarding! The most meaningful events in his life were the many road trips, the concerts he attended and most of all, when he decided to go to College. Elijah was definitely known for his long, curly hair. He was always energetic and funny. A saying most often heard from Elijah was "C-U-LUV-U-BYE". His lovable and outgoing personality will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Elijah leaves behind his parents; Holly Victor, Sherena Salter and Travis Hooke, his sibling; Yvonne Lonnie, Elishah & Emily Hooke and Lynessa McIntosh, his Grandparents; Farlan & Anna Victor and Evalena Henry, his Great Grandparents; Ray & Alzada Stevens and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by Tennyson Victor, Dolly Hoffman, Asa Ethelbah, Luther Victor, Katelyn Hooke and Katy Kozie.
A wake will be held on Sunday afternoon, July 21, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at the Victor residence in Bylas with the funeral services on Monday at 8:30 a.m. also at the Victor residence. Interment will be in the Middle Mesa Cemetery following services.
