Elizabeth Ann Reed Betty Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Elizabeth Betty Ann Reed, passed away peacefully in her sleep, November 21, 2009, ending the pain and suffering due to osteoporosis. Born February 16, 1937, to James and Dorothy Ione Gordon. Betty grew up in Carter, Wyoming and attended school in Mountain View. She married her high school sweetheart, Raymond H. Reed in 1955, and they moved to Murray, Utah in 1958, where they raised their three children. She is survived by her husband, Ray; two sons and a daughter: Raymond G. Reed, Lonnie (Diana) Reed and Tawnya (Carl) Brewer; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and a grandson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where a viewing will be held from 10 - 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery. There will be a small gathering at Ray & Bettys home following graveside services to celebrate her life.
