Eloisa Bencomo

Eloisa Bencomo, 75, of Solomon, passed away February 2, 2018 in Safford surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 2, 1942 in Sanchez, AZ to Eduardo & Emma Robinson Sanchez. Eloisa was one of 7 children; Dora, Raul, Eduardo "Chacho", Virginia, Robert and Joel Sanchez. She grew up in and lived all her life here in the Gila Valley earning her G.E.D. and becoming a Laundry Technician. After meeting Henry S. Bencomo and falling in love, on October 6, 1963 the couple were married and made their home in Solomon. They were blessed with three children; Emma, Monica and Henry, Jr. Eloisa loved music, gardening and caring for all of her grandchildren. She was very strong willed but very loving and dedicated to her children and specially her grandchildren. He favorite poem was "Footprints". She was also a dedicated wife who had eternal love for her husband Henry. She is survived by her loving husband Henry, Sr., her children Emma (Sonny) Onsurez, Monica (Ramon) Gonzalez and Henry Bencomo, Jr., her siblings Virginia Sierra and Robert Sanchez, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Eloisa is preceded in death by her parents Eduardo and Emma Sanchez, and siblings Dora, Raul, "Chacho" and Joel. As her family, we will always honor our mom, grandma, great-grandma and great-great grandma for the delicious meals, all the baby sitting and for all the love she gave us by passing it forward. Graveside services will be held on February 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Jose Cemetery with a luncheon to follow.
