Emerville was born August 8, 1938 in Ash Creek on the San Carlos Indian Reservation. As an infant without getting proper medical care she got sick from the measles which almost took her life. Later in her youth years her parents settled in Bylas, Arizona where she attended day school and completed up to 8th grade. She helped her mother Marie Nosie take care of her younger siblings. Emerville had 9 siblings. As a young lady she became a seamstress and make her own clothing. She participated playing sports, basketball being her favorite pastime.
In 1958 she married the late Billy Dillon of San Carlos, Arizona. Emerville along with her husband and oldest son Darrell lived in San Carlos. Through Relocation program they moved to Dallas, TX where Billy worked. She took along her sister Lolita Nosie-Kitcheyan. Few years later they traveled back to San Carlos where the rest of her kids were later born (Darren, Gerald & Ronell) and made Seven Mile their residency. Emerville was employed at the San Carlos hospital as a cook assistance soon after her husband passed she met the father of his daughter Julie. She made Bylas her permanent resident where she settled with her 5 children. She became a member of the Bylas First Miracle church. Emerville traveled to various reservations spreading the Gospel thru songs, she devoted her life to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and became the Youth Choir Leader and Prayer Warrior under the Pastoral late Elmer Nozie ministry.
Emerville cared about her nieces and nephew's although she lived in a small house that her father gave her. She openly invited them when they needed a place to stay. Later in life her daughter Ronell had a son Derek which Emerville took care of and raised him as her own.
Emerville was employed at the Older Adult center under the Aging Council program. She couldn't continue due to her health. As she got older her health declined quickly where she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease which she battled for 6 years, her daughter Julie took care of her. A week prior to Emerville's passing her son Darren passed away due to heart attack, Emerville lived a happy life before her sickness incurred she as a very kind, loving and giving person. As a single parent she raised all 5 of her children which made her a fourth-generation grandmother. She will truly be missed, her sarcastic jokes, sense of humor and her singing will forever live within each of her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents late Thomas Baker Nosie & Marie Nosie, son Darren Dillon. She is survived by two son's Darrell and Gerald Dillon of Bylas, Arizona and two daughters Ronell Dillon & Julie Stevens of Bylas, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A wake will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Dillon residence. The Service will take place on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at 2nd Miracle. Internment will follow at Middle Mesa.
