Emily Ann Searcy Our Little Princess August 28, 2005 July 30, 2010 Our little Princess, Emily Ann, passed away Friday night after a swimming accident on Thursday. Emily will be remembered as a joyous spirit that always brightened every situation no matter what was going on. Emilys inquisitive nature of always asking why was usually the beginning of her next adventure. Mommy and Daddy found great joy in finding answers to satisfy Emilys curiosity, which was occasionally difficult since she had a keen attention to detail and seemed to be curious about everything. Emily loved to learn, draw, paint, sing, dance, brush her teeth, and also change her clothes all in the name of FASHION or GLAMOUR. Even in her fanciest dress or skirt, she still loved to go outside and get dirty with the boys because Princesses can do it too. Using her sweet little voice that could barely contain excitement, Emily would widen her eyes and move her hands about as she applied her extraordinary imagination to stories that were so elaborate, she could captivate her audiences for hours. She loved to go fishing and camping with family especially her PAPA Scotty. Emily leaves behind her loving family including her big sister Aubrey, little brother Bailey, Mommy and Daddy, Papa Scotty, Grama Liz, Papa Tracy, Grandma Shell, Papa Tom and many loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Emily will be dearly missed by all who love her and thoughts of her will be with us each day. Nothing will keep our little Princess from doing and learning anything and everything that her adventurous mind wants to do. A funeral will be held Thursday, August 5, 2010, 10:00 a.m at the Lakeridge 4th Ward, 3151 South 7200 West. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and on Thursday at the church from 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
