Emma Huff

Emma Alice Huff, 80 of Safford passed away December 27, 2009. Emma was born October 20, 1929 in Montezuma County, Colorado to Emory & Arizona Wilson. She married Dan Huff on March 1, 1952 and they were blessed with three sons, Douglas Lynn, Jerry Daniel and Donald Wayne Huff. The family lived in many different places including Canada, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. As a young woman, Emma taught school, but as her children joined the family she devoted her time to raising them at home. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, traveling and spending time with her family. Emma was preceded in death by her husband Dan Huff, parents, and brothers Pat & Harold. She is survived by her sons Douglas (Billie) Huff of Thatcher, Jerry (Kay) Huff of Soldotna, Alaska, and Donald Huff of Safford, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Safford.
