Erma Paxton

Erma Charlene Hubbard Paxton, 79, of Safford entered into rest on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the Haven at Safford Care Center. Erma was born on May 23, 1933 in Hubbard, AZ to Emery & Audrey Taylor Hubbard; she was one of 6 children. Erma married Billy Paxton on September 10, 1954 in Safford and have 5 children, Lawrence, Terry, Audrey, Erma & Harry. She loved to quilt, make ceramics, bake and cook for her family. Erma loved to spend time playing games with her children & grandchildren and camping with her husband. Erma is preceded in death by her father and mother; brothers, Morgan and Virgil Hubbard. She is survived by her loving husband, Billy Paxton; children, Lawrence (Laurie) Paxton, Terry Paxton, Audrey (Ken) Heuck, Erma (Armando) Rivas, Harry (Nancy) Paxton; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Services for Erma will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Safford LDS Stake Center with Bishop Joseph Carpenter officiating. A viewing of Erma will be Saturday, May 11 at 9:30 10:30 a.m. at Safford LDS Stake Center. Interment will follow at the Safford Cemetery.
