Erminia Fernandez

Erminia Munoz Fernandez, 77, passed away October 7, 2013 at her home in Safford. She was born November 11, 1935 to Hortencia Amado Munoz & Ricardo Munoz in Solomon, Arizona. Erminia loved to play baseball, volleyball and basketball. She also loved to sing and she sure could sing. Erminia married Steve B. Fernandez on March 15, 1952 and they celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary last March. She was very much a loved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend and devoted wife. She will be greatly missed forever by all who loved her and never forgotten until all are reunited in heaven. Services for Erminia were held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Solomon with the viewing held at 9:00 a.m., Rosary recited at 10:00 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment is in the Safford Cemetery. A dinner followed the services at the American Legion in Solomon.
