Ernst Ferdinand Baer 1931 ~ 2009 Ernst Ferdinand Baer, age 77, passed away March 28, 2009 Born September 12, 1931 to Ernst and Luise Hofmann Baer in Furth Germany. Was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Married Mirjam A. Hass on March 7, 1951 in Germany. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on April 21, 1982. Retired from the IRS after 25 years of service. Loved sports, enjoyed traveling and loved spending time with his granddaughter, Michelle, the apple of his eye. Survived by children: Ralph (Betty Ann) Baer, Heidi Tracy; grandchildren: Michelle, Sherry Ann, Gary, Jeff, Susan, Deeann; 13 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife. Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 1, 2009, 10:30 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. A viewing will be Tuesday from 6-7:30 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
