Ethel Armstrong, 88, of Chandler, AZ, entered into rest on September 2, 2017. She was born October 11, 1928 in Bylas, AZ to George Goseyun & Nellie Nasby.
She attended the Mission School and received her 8th grade diploma of which she was very proud. She marred Henry Armstrong, Jr. on March 10, 1955 and was very happy at the birth of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ethel had many hobbies; cooking Apache meals, sewing blankets and Apache Camp dresses, attending church, listening to the word of God and gospel music, family trips, spending time with grand kids, rodeos and attending country music concerts.
She is survived by her children; Queenie Hom, Brenda (Kevin) Haydel and Kathy (Doug Jones) Villalba, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Ethel was preceded in death by her loving husband, Henry Armstrong, Jr. parents George & Nellie Nasby Goseyun, and siblings; Rosane Goseyun, Roscoe Goseyun, Josephine Goseyun Noline, Donald Goseyun, Samuel Goseyun and Emerson Goseyun.
A Wake will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Vonda Cassadore residence. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Bylas with interment in the Navajo Point Cemetery.
