Eudora Heaton Thompson Nana Our loving mother, grandma, Nana and great-great grandma returned to the loving arms of her parents the evening of May 5, 2008. Mom was born Oct. 8, 1924 in Tropic, UT, to Herald Hoyt and Ellen Johnson Heaton, she was the first of 6 children. She was raised in Alton, UT. Mom lost her mother when she was just 13 years old; she then helped raise her brother and sisters. Mom married her life long sweetheart, Art Thompson, June 29, 1946. They had 62 wonderful years together. They have two daughters, Ellen (Ben) Adams and Dianne Thompson. Mom was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held many positions in her ward. Mom is survived by her husband; daughters; brother, Grant (Luana) Heaton, sisters: Mary Deen Jeppson, Flora May (Dick) Cheney, Karma (Chad) Clark; 3 granddaughters; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Hope. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at the Kearns 16th Ward, 4731 S. 4300 W. A viewing will be held Friday, May 9, 2008, 5-7 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
