Evelyn Kleven Beloved Mother Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Evelyn Irene Burnside Kleven, left to join her husband in eternity December 27, 2007. She was born April 21, 1927 in Kenilworth, Utah to Earl and Hannah Ericksen Burnside. Married George Hornback; later divorced. Married Edmund A. Kleven June 16, 1949; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Evelyn was an active member of the LDS Church serving as Primary president, Relief Society president and many teaching positions. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, reciting poetry, singing, traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children: George Earl Hornback, West Valley City; Elnora (Ernest) Jensen, Castle Dale; Betty Utley, West Valley City; Bobbie Dichellis, Kearns; and Gay Lynn Kleven-Lundstrom, Kearns; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings: Kent Burnside, West Valley City; Anna Nielsen, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Kleven; granddaughter, Amanda Jensen; parents; 10 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Monday, 12:00 noon at the Kearns 6th Ward, 4260 West 5215 South. A viewing will be held Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Monday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
