Everett Stanley

Everett Stanley , 80, of Bylas passed away in Mesa on April 25, 2015. Everett was born September 18, 1934 to Rufus and Anna Stanley in Bylas, AZ. He married Sally Preston on May 2, 1982 in Safford, AZ. He was a member of the San Carlos Cattle Association and loved the great outdoors. He really enjoyed working on the ranches, hunting, fishing, cooking, camping and participating in Sunrise Dances. Everett is survived by his wife Sally, step-children; Arlene (Jesus) Pike, Sammie (Evelyn) Hinton, Nathaniel Hinton and Suenell (Donovan Sr.) Kozie, brother Franklin Stanley and goddaughter Marylita (Ira) Stanley, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Rufus and Anna Bylas Stanley, sister Orlinda Cheney and brothers Gibhart Stanley, Rosin Stanley and Phillip White. A wake for Everett will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 6:00 a.m. at the Stanley residence in Bylas. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church with interment to follow in the Middle Mesa Cemetery.
