Felipa Martinez

Felipa Oliva Martinez, 94, of Safford, entered into eternity in the evening of November 13, 2018 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born August 21, 1924 in San Jose de la Era, Mexico to Isidro Oliva & Erculana Butierrez. She spent her life as a full time mother making sure her kids were well taken care of. She would pass her time crafting, and one of her favorite ways of crafting was crocheting. She is survived by her children Leandra (Manuel) Espinoza, Petra Lopez, Ester Martinez, Frank (Monica) Martinez, Eldifonzo (Lupe) Martinez, Rebecca (Paul) Carrasco, as well as her 45 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Martinez, her sons Thomas Martinez Jr. and Andres Martinez, her daughter Carmen Baca, and her grandson Zachery Martinez. A visitation will be held at the McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel on Monday, November 19, 2018 beginning at 9:00 a.m. with the Rosary will be led at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
