Fern LeJeune Hall Loving Mother and Friend Fern LeJeune Larson Hall, born May 8, 1922, returned to her loving Heavenly Father after a very brief, courageous endurance of cancer, surrounded by her loved ones on the morning of April 9, 2009. A proud, life-long faithful servant of her Lord and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a great love of music (especially the Mormon Tabernacle Choir) and directing music in the Primary, Relief Society and Ward Choirs. She loved to travel and saw many of the places on her to do list. She enjoyed the hobbies of crocheting, doll making, doll collecting, sewing, cooking and watching cooking shows on TV. She lived in the San Francisco Bay Area most of her life, before moving to Salt Lake City 8 years ago. She worked at Fairmont Hospital in San Leandro, California as an LVN for 25 years before retiring in 1985. Born in Magna, Utah to Myrtle I. Harmon Larson and Jared A. Larson. She married Homer Hall in Oakland, CA on December 29, 1943 and later divorced. She leaves behind her son, James Ronald Hall, Salt Lake City; daughter, Michelle LeJeune Estey, Mt. Pleasant, UT; brothers, H. Kaye Larson, Rexburg, ID and S.J. Bud Larson of Santaquin, UT. She leaves a legacy of 13 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her son, Jerry W. Hall. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 14, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at the Salt Lake Ensign Stake, 135 A Street, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, Utah, and on Tuesday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Church. Interment, Thursday, April 16, 2009, 2:00 p.m. at the Spring City Cemetery, Spring City, Utah.
