Florence R. Conger A Walk in the Rose Garden Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, Florence Rosetta Petersen Conger, 87, passed away October 25, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born July 9, 1923 in Penrose, Utah, daughter of John Ryman and Rosetta Stokes Petersen. Married Jay J. Conger; he preceded her in death. She is survived by sons: Ronald J. (Patricia), Craig L. and Joel S. (Victoria); 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; great-great grandchild on the way; brothers: Elwyn, Don and Denny; sister, Eileen Yankee. Also preceded in death by son, Allen Conger; brothers: John R. Bud and Raymond Dean Pete; great-grandchildren, Kelly Gates and Alexis Conger; her best friend, companion and dog, Buddy. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn following services.
