Floyd Anderson, Jr., of San Carlos, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2019. He was born on December 21, 1968 in San Manuel, AZ to parents Floyd Anderson Sr. and Mildred Pike Anderson with siblings Donna, Boyd and Kathy Anderson.
Floyd attended Phoenix Indian High School, graduating in 1988 and went on to become a truck driver for the Sanitation Department in San Carlos. On July 29, 2002, he married Denise Eugenia Curley and together they were blessed to raise their children; Casey Shaw, William Shaw, Sirianna Shaw, Marisa Shaw and Shealene Anderson.
Floyd had many hobbies and interests, such as car restoration, fishing, golfing, bull riding, horseback riding and being a bus driver. He was proud to be a Journeyman Mechanic and an Optometry Technician, starting his own business and providing services to the local schools. Floyd also worked at the Oracle Ridge Copper Mine and was a member of the Arizona Junior Rodeo Association.
He had a contagious laugh and was friendly, outgoing, a very good cook, always encouraging others and very compassionate. He was known for saying "with God in our lives, all things are possible" and "God is good". His favorite scripture was Ephesians 6:11-18 "Put on the whole armour of God...".
Floyd is survived by his children Marisa Shaw, Sirianna Shaw, William Shaw, Casey Shaw and Shealene Anderson, his sisters Donna Whaley & Kathy Anderson, his brother Boyd Anderson and his pet dogs Boss Man, May & Beauty.
He is preceded in death by his loving mother Mildred Pike Anderson, his father Floyd Anderson, Sr. and his brother Lloyd Anderson.
Services will be held on Friday, August 30th beginning with a Visitation at 6:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral service at 9:00 a.m. at the House of God in Bylas Arizona . Interment will be in the Navajo Point Cemetery in Bylas.
