Obituary:
In loving memory of Frank Herrera, a devoted family man and a kind soul who touched the hearts of many. Frank passed away on May 11, 2024 in Tucson, Arizona, on his 83rd birthday.
Frank was known for his loving caring, and thoughtful nature. He lived a life dedicated to helping others, always ready to come to the aid those in need without hesitation. His faithfulness and unwavering commitment to his family and friends were remarkable traits that defined him.
Born on May 11, 1941, Frank lived a life filled with love and compassion. Throughout his years, he amassed a collection of memories and experiences that will be cherished by all who knew him. In his younger days, he excelled as a great mechanic, showcasing his skills and passion for working with tools and machinery.
Among his proudest accomplishments was his role as a devoted husband to Sara Herrera. Their bond was one of love and mutual respect, a partnership that stood the test of time.
Frank is now reunited in eternity with the love of his life Sara whom he missed deeply. He is also reunited with his parents; Doroteo Jaramillo Herrera and Josefa Peña Herrera. He is also preceded in death by his sisters; Olivia, Lita, Cathy, Pat, Maria Alicia, Irma, and Nena along with brothers; Louis and Fidel.
He is survived by his sisters Rosa Martin of Duncan, and Jean Silvius of Tucson, and his brother Robert Herrera of Phoenix along with numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many extended family members who will continue to cherish his memory.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate Frank's life will be held at Duncan Cemetery in Duncan, Arizona on May 18, 2024. The service will commence at 1:45 PM.
Frank's legacy of love and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace knowing he was loved deeply and will be remembered fondly by all whose lives he touched.
