Fred Nash

Fred K. Nash 1938 ~ 2008 Fred Kenneth Nash, 69, passed away January 14, 2008. He was born April 17, 1938 to Fred K. and Dorothy Larson Nash in Salt Lake City, Utah. Graduated from Granite High School in 1956. Married LuWayne Cannon May 25, 1962; later divorced. Lifelong, active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings including a full time mission to the Northwestern States from 1958-60. Also served in the Air Force Reserves at Hill AFB, Utah. Worked in auto sales and repair, starting out in his fathers auto business. Also worked as a draftsman. Fred was the father of six children and ten grandchildren, all of whom survive him. Children are: Kenneth (Christine) Nash, Wayne Nash, LaNae (Ronald) Taylor, Ilene (Nathan) Nash, Carl Nash and Brian Nash; grandchildren are: Christopher, Colby, Curtis, Casey, Mindy, Daniel, Karen, Dustin, Kimberly and Cannon; and sister, LaDene Hoglund. Preceded in death by brother, Lynn Nash; sister, Carol Lund. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 18, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where a viewing will be held Thursday, January 17, 2008, 6-8 p.m. and Friday, 12-12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Drive.
