Fred Rodela

Fred B. Rodela, 90 passed away in Whittier, California on July 6, 2009. He was born on November 22, 1918 in Morenci to Casimino & Cuca Rodela. Fred served in the Navy during WWII and worked as a fabrication foreman for Cutler-Hammen for 27 years. Fred married Ernestina Pepi and enjoyed working in his vegetable and flower garden. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and 3 siblings Guadalupe Rodela, Antonio Rodela and Susie Williams. Fred is survived by his siblings Casey B. Rodela, Alex B. Rodela, Robert B. Rodela, Alby B. Rodela, Margaret Tellez, Natalia Peralta, Ida Morales and Angie Black and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 25 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment will follow in the Safford Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Gila Valley Honor Guard.
