Fred Wagley

Fred Jiggs Wagley was born August 2, 1936 in Natchitoches, LA to Mary Ethel and Albert Greer Wagley. Jiggs was raised in Marthaville and Beulah, LA with his brothers and sisters, James, Buster, Charlie, Popeye, Sue, Bennie, Betty, and Cookie. He graduated from Marthaville High School in 1955. After graduation Jiggs moved to Morenci, AZ to work for the mine. This is where he met Nelda Cross, whom he married in 1956. Together they raised five children. Jiggs passed away May 26, 2011 at his home. He is survived by wife Nelda Wagley, his five children, Wade (Donna) Wagley, Kim (Barry) Simpson, Kelly Presley, Todd Wagley, and Kara Wagley. He is also survived by many grandchildren and many, many great grandchildren. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Memorial services will be held June 4, 2011 at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church of Duncan. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
