G. Joyce Kroon Joyce Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend, G. Joyce Kroon, 75, passed away December 23, 2009. Born December 6, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ethel LaBeryl Ward and George Anderson Howard. Married Leland E. Kroon, on January 26, 1961. He preceded her in death March 24, 1987. A faithful member of the LDS church. Joyce cherished spending time with her grandchildren. They were the apple of her eye. She loved and appreciated her many friends and neighbors. Is survived by 1 daughter; Bonnie Ortar; 2 sons: Scott (Roseann) Ortar; Stuart (Debbie) Kroon and 1 brother: Harold; 1 sister: Francis; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband: Leland; Douglas; Vern & Jean; Ferron. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 30, 12:00 noon at the Millcreek 8th Ward, 4558 South 600 East, Murray, Utah. Viewing will be held Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Wednesday at the church, 10:30-11:45 a.m.. Interment, Holladay Memorial Park
