Gail Honeycutt, 80, of Safford, passed away January 17, 2016. She was born July 6, 1935 in Laramie, Wyoming to Howard & Ruth Lockhart. Gail attended school in Wyoming and soon after, discovered her love of animals, dogs in particular. She joined the local kennel club and found joy in showing dogs. She loved her dogs and looked forward to working the dog shows. She had a passion for sewing, hunting, fishing and hunting for arrowheads. She also loved to travel and show her Hungarian Vizsla dogs. Somewhere in the middle of all of this she found and married the love of her life, Alvin Honeycutt and together they enjoyed the outdoors and traveling. She is survived by her siblings; Joan Rottman, Carol Poulos, Bruce Lockhart, Hugh Lockhart, Judy Rottman, Bonnie Lockhart, Linda Lockhart and Nancy Wallis and numerous nieces and nephews. Gail was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin Honeycutt. A private family service will be held at a later date.
