Gene W. Etherington 1936 ~ 2008 Gene William Etherington, 72, passed away May 13, 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born February 5, 1936 in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, son of Walter Ray and Ivy Martha Higgins Etherington. Survived by children: Debra Willoughby, Linda Martineau, Robert, Mike, Colette and Josh Etherington; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother and sister: Dean Etherington and Shirley Wright. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Ray. Graveside services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m. at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road.
