George Garth Campbell G.G. George Garth Campbell, age 80, passed away November 9, 2007, from natural causes. Born July 14, 1927 in Widtsoe, Utah, to George Arzy and Norma Lucile Mangum Campbell (shortly after George Garths birth, his mother Norma, passed away. Georges second wife, Myrtle Lenore, sister of Norma, then raised Garth from birth). Married Peggy Marie Jennings, later divorced. Married Lillian Stromberg Mackay, later divorced. He was a member of the LDS Church. He served in the Navy during World War II., was an avid golfer and loved to travel the world. He was a pharmacy representative in his early career, but his true passion was being the founder and creator of Diamond Lils restaurant for over 25 years. He was a member of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, Salt Shakers and elected to the Salt Lake Board of Governors. He was charitable to family and community. He was dearly loved and will be missed. Survived by his children: George Richard (Katherine) Campbell, Leslie Ann Bignami, Pamela (John) Dalrymple, Rexanne (Hank) Pond, Sandra Sam (Jack) Clifford; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Ohlan (Kathleen) Campbell, Udell (Carolyn) Campbell, Elgie (Sonja) Campbell; sister, Bonnie Lou Campbell. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Norman J. and Carel; sisters: Deanna Louise and Zelma Juanita. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 15, 2007, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. There will be a viewing Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Graveside at Widtsoe Cemetery on Friday, 2:00 p.m.
