George Eichelberger

George A. Eichelberger Sr. Ike George Albert Eichelberger Sr., 80, passed away May 16, 2008 in Murray, Utah. Born March 15, 1928 in Pocatello, Idaho, son of William Henry and Lenorrah Haas Eichelberger Sr. Married his sweetheart, Darlene Gwen Higgins, December 18, 1948; who preceded him in death after 50 years of marriage. He served in the US Navy. He worked for the US Government. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His favorite calling was working with the Scouts. Survived by children: Roy (Bonnie), Susan, George (Charlene), Dave (Sheri); 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. Also preceded in death by his parents; 4 siblings; 1 great-granddaughter, Cassidy. The family expresses gratitude to Alta Ridge for their loving care the past four years. A special thanks to Cheri for her love and care of Dad and the family. Thank you to Millcreek Hospice and Dee. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Graveside services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m. at the Arimo, Idaho Cemetery.
