George Mayfield

George Ronald Mayfield, 48, of Safford passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at his home in Safford. He was born on Decemeber 17, 1962 in Kearney, AZ, to Ronald Gene Mayfield and Nellie Geneva Sanders. He is survivied by his mother Nellie of Safford; sons, George Ronald Mayfield II, of Kearney, and Christopher Mac(Alishia) Mayfield of Safford; daughter, Kristina Lea Mayfield of Safford; brother, Willie Gene Mayfield of Safford; sister, Cathie Elaine Mayfield of Demming, NM; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Solomon LDS church, with Bishop Wes Reidhead officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Pima Cemetery.
