Georgianna Stanley

Georgianna "Shiann" Stanley, 60, of Phoenix, passed away December 15, 2015. She was born December 17, 1954 in Bylas, AZ to Wilson & Ollie Stanley.Georgianna completed her schooling in Ft. Thomas and graduating from Ft. Thomas High School. She was an avid seamstress and loved to play cards, read and do crossword puzzles. She was a lifetime homemaker and caregiver to her children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.When her sister-in-law passed away at a young age, Georgianna left Bylas and moved to Minifarms, on the Navajo Nation, to raise her nieces and nephews as her own. She was very kindhearted.She is survived by her children; Bettina Rae Ollie Stanley and Jeremy Brian Stanley, siblings; Wilson Stanley, Jr. Bernard Stanley, five grandchildren and numerous stepbrothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews.Georgianna was preceded in death by her parents; Wilson Stanley Sr. and Ollie Standing Stanley, siblings; Pricely Stanley, Spencer Stanley, Carol Davis and Vivian Stanley.A wake for Georgianna will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 6:00 a.m. at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Bylas, AZ with the services following at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Central Heights Cemetery in Bylas.
