He proudly served in the United States Air Force from September 7, 1954, through June 1, 1956, demonstrating a commitment to his country that set a standard for those around him. Following his military service, he embarked on a successful journey as a business owner, where his full-of-life personality shone brightly, touching the lives of many.
Throughout his life, Gerald remained deeply connected to his family. He is survived by his cherished nephew, Edward Vail. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
