Glenn H Rogers Gone Fishing Glenn H Rogers, 81, passed away March 30, 2010 in Murray, Utah. Born August 1, 1928 in Logan, Utah, son of Elmer Holister and Sarah Ruby Hokanson Rogers. Married Vadis Jean Clark in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; she preceded him in death. Married Linda Ryan March 31, 2000. Member of the LDS Church serving in many positions including bishopric and High Priest Group Leader. Served in the US Army as a Staff Sgt during the Korean Conflict. Retired from Kennecott Copper Corp. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, hiking and playing Wii. Survived by wife, Linda; children: Berdett, Leland (Jana), Karyn (Marcelo), Philip (Brenda), Diane (Blaine); stepchildren: Scott (Joy), Troy (Christee), Blaine (Diane) and Nikki (Adam). 22 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Scott Rogers; sister, Monta Mendenhall. Preceded in death by parents; sisters: Elma Bae and Nola. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 5, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at the Kearns 10th Ward, 5025 West 4865 South. Viewings will be held Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Monday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
