Grace Wells

Grace Elena Wells, 72, of Pima entered into rest on Sunday June 22, 2014 surrounded by her family. Grace was born March 13, 1942 to Arthur and Ida Damsgaard in Lawrence, Michigan. On January 15, 1983 Grace married David Wells and together they raised eight children; Robin, Penny, Gale, Dale, Randy, Dawn, Kenny, and Teresa. Grace loved taking care of her children and grandchildren but still found time to sew, crochet, fish, and garden. Grace belonged to the Military Order of Purple Heart Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and was also active in the Graham County Sheriffs Search and Rescue, and the Eastern Arizona Amateur Radio Society (KB7CSE) The most important thing to Grace after her children and grandchildren was being able to make it to the Temple. Grace is survived by her husband of 31 years, David Wells, children; Robin, Penny, Gale, Dale, Dawn, Kenny and Teresa, Siblings; Artie, Elaine, and Janet, Sixteen Grandchildren and Sixteen Great-Grandchildren. Grace was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Damsgaard and Ida Strickfadden, son Randy and Great-Grandson Caleb. A memorial service for Grace will be held at the Ft. Thomas LDS Chapel in Ft. Thomas, Arizona on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
