Guy L. Cranford, 89, of Loma Linda passed away on August 10, 2013. Guy was born May 9, 1924 in Franklin, Arizona to Virgil Thomas and Martha Pugh Cranford. He served in the United States Navy during World War II, and went on to work as a Shovel Operator for the Phelps Dodge Copper Mine in Morenci. He retired after 38 years of service. He enjoyed being outdoors, ranching and most of all deer hunting. Guy is survived by his daughter, Diana Chambers of Tempe and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Marjorie, his parents and son, Mike and daughter, Susan. A Graveside service will be conducted Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Duncan Cemetery.
