Gwen Ellison

Gwen Ellison, 79 of Pima passed away with her family at her side on January 16, 2011 in the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center. She was born April 15, 1931 in Dover, Ohio. Gwen worked in the Medical industry as a nurse practitioner. She was very creative and talented and taught herself how to do many things. Gwen was also a very caring and loving person who was always giving to others. She was a member of the Rebecca's and served as the State President of the Rebecca's. Gwen is survived by her Daughters - Vicky (Jerry) Carter of Caliente, NV, and Connie (Gary) Cameron of Globe; Sons - Rick (Janet) Martin of New Orleans, LA, and Roger (Kathi) Martin of Safford; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James Ellison, parents Ralph & Marie Wedling and brother Ralph. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Safford. Interment will be in the Graham Cemetery.
