Harvey Ward

Harvey G. Ward of Duncan, passed away July 26, 2019 at his home with his family at his side. He was born May 28, 1931 in Wayne, West Virginia to Harvey Ward & Lula Adkins Ward with siblings Zuma, Homer, Carl, Dorothy, Virginia, Estelle, Paul and Ralph. Harvey joined the United States Army on December 3, 1952 in Beckley, West Virginia and honorably served as an M.P. until September 25, 1954. After his time in the service he worked as an electrician and when he began civilian life he continued to work as an electrician. He married Diana A. Mackie February 6, 1956. Harvey was a member of the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) #570. He was blessed with 14 Grandchildren and 27 Great-Grandchildren. Harvey is survived by his children Loralie (Steve) Martin, Brenda Nagore, Pamela Ward, Harvey G. (Carla) Ward, Jr. and Terri (Jack) Kellum, 13 Grandchildren and 27 Great-Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Harvey & Lula Ward, his loving wife Diana Ward, and a Grandson. No services will be held at this time.
