Helen Bowden 1931 ~ 2008 Helen June Meredith Bowden, 77, passed away November 3, 2008 in Brigham City, Utah. Born July 31, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of John B. and Emily Hill Meredith. Married Clifton M. Bowden August 15, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah; he preceded her in death. Active member of the LDS Church. She loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and caring of campgrounds. Member of the Sidewinder 4 x 4 Club and DAV Auxiliary. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren. Survived by son, Clifton H. (Connie) Bowden; daughters: Millie (Leo) Brockman and Mary (William) Privett; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Also preceded in death by parents; daughter, Helen Teenybug; brothers: Steve and Ted Meredith; granddaughter, Surnia Ison; 2 great-grandchildren: Braxton and Jeslyn. Graveside services will Friday, 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held, 12-1:30 p.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
