Helen Hoyland

Helen G. Hoyland 1934 ~ 2009 Helen G. Hoyland, age 74, passed away July 3, 2009 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born October 27, 1934 in Palmyra, New York, daughter of Roy D. and Clara Andrews Gilbert. Married Richard D. Ward; later divorced. Mom was a Registered Nurse having worked in Rochester and Plattsburg, New York, Wyoming, Oregon, Arizona and Texas. In 1984 she moved to Wyoming followed by Murray, Utah in 2006. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening and photography. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Kearns. Helen is survived by her children: Beth (Jim) Clemenger, West Jordan, UT; Garth Ward, North Glen, CO; and Donald (Julie) Ward, Loveland, CO; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters: Beverly (Bruce) Carter, Glenfield, NY; and Lois (John) Briggs, Clifton Springs, NY; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services at Trinity United Methodist Church in Kearns, Utah, will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Association.
