Herschel Thompson

Herschel Thompson, 30, of Peridot passed away February 6, 2014 in Tucson. Herschel was born November 18, 1983 in Phoenix, Arizona to Joseph and Pearly Ann Irving Thompson. Herschel enjoyed all sports and received awards in basketball and baseball. After graduating high school, he worked in construction and in his free time still enjoyed playing basketball and hanging out with his family and friends. Herschel is survived by his children, Danielle Thompson, Herschel Thompson, Jr., Heracio Thompson and Jazlyn May Yzaguirre; grandparents, Danny and Serena Irving of San Carlos, Arizona; and siblings, Vincent, Danny, Ivonne, Devonna, JT, Linden, Joe Paul, Joshua Joe, Thomas, Agnus, Joy Evan, Anna Thompson and Wendy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearly Ann Duwyenie and cousin, Josiah Nash. A wake will be held Friday, February 14, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Serena Irving Residence in Peridot. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the San Carlos Miracle Church in San Carlos. Interment to follow at the China Town Cemetery in Peridot.
