Ida Archuletta, 96, of Safford, Arizona, passed away on March 28, 2014. Ida was born in Lobatos, Colorado on June 22, 1917 to Julian and Amalia Jiron. Ida attended the Lobatos schools and at the age of 18 she married the love of her life, Charlie Archuletta, on November 11, 1935. They gave birth to their two daughters, Viola and Charlotte. In 1947 they moved to Morenci, Arizona and lived there until 1966 when they moved to Safford and resided there for the duration of her life. She was a housewife, loving mother and grandmother. Ida is survived by her daughters Viola (Dan) Leonesio and Charlotte (Bobert) Montoya, grandchildren; Desiree Sesma, Bobert (Sara) Montoya, Brian (Sharon) Montoya, Dawn (Doug) Michell, great-grandchildren; Krystal, Logan, Kennedie, Rhett, Shaun, Braiten, Charissa, Destinee, Coby and Josiah, 3 great great-grandchildren and twins on the way, and her sister Alice Jiron of Antonito, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her husband Charlie Archuletta who passed away November 15, 1997 and 6 of her siblings who passed away in Colorado.
