Ila Nell Reynolds, 78, of Pima, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at her home in Pima. She was born on March 4, 1934 in Douglas, AZ, to Martin Emil Mortenson and Annie Idell Coons Mortenson. Ila attended schools in El Frida, and graduated from Pearce High School. She moved to Pima in 1951. She was a baker for the Sugar Shack in Pima and for Safeway. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons, Russ T. (Pam) Reynolds, of Thatcher, Eric V. (Tami) Reynolds of Pima, David L. Reynolds, of Ft. Grant, and Dan Allen Reynolds, of Safford; daughter, Sylvia (Kirk) Dana of Phoenix; sister, Norma Howard, of Eden; brothers, Ray Mortenson of New Mexico, and Marty Mortenson of Phoenix; 22 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Lloyd Mortenson. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the Pima LDS Stake Center. Viewing will be on Wednesday, April 25, from 6-8 p.m. at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
