Ilse Ontiveros, 83, of Duncan, entered into rest on February 28, 2013 while surrounded by her family at Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center. She was born in Mannheim, Germany on April 5, 1929 to Heinrich and Helen Krail. Ilse came to the United States with her husband and Children in 1978. She never became a U.S. citizen but was very grateful for the acceptance which she felt in her new country. She was a stay at home mom which suited her well because she loved spending time with her family. Of most importance to Ilse was that her family could be together and be healthy and happy. She was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved singing, dancing and watching her favorite Arizona sports teams on television. She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 53 years, Guadalupe Ontiveros; her parents; her sister Ellen Comber and her brother Heinz Krail. She is survived by her son, Heinz (Cindy) Ontiveros; daughter, Lupita (Robert) Bejarano; sister, Ricarda Schoon; niece, Ricarda Schuster; and her grandchildren, Dustin Hendrix, Megan (Dan) Martinez, Selena Bejarano, Ciara Bejarano, Danny Martinez and Logan Martinez. Services for Ilse will begin with a viewing at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9 at McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel. The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. No cemetery services will be held.
