Iris Haddow

Iris Shelley Haddow Loving Mother and Grandmother Iris Shelley Haddow, 96, passed away July 18, 2009 in Murray, Utah. Born August 26, 1912 in Bingham, Utah, daughter of Leonard Harrington and Lottie Ovard Shelley. Married Raymond L. Haddow April 2, 1932; solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple April 25, 1952. Active member of the LDS Church where she served in her stake and ward Primary for 28 years, 20 years as Sacrament Meeting coordinator at St. Joseph Villa with her dear friend, Elva Pohlman. She enjoyed dipping chocolates for Condie Candy Company for 50 years. Her favorite times were with her family, eating out, shopping and laughing. Survived by daughter, Sondra (Roger) ; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband; son, John; sisters: Janice and Cleone brothers: Duke and LaVoy. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
