Isabel Cervantez

Isabel Urrea Cervantez, 83 of San Jose passed away on August 16, 2010. She was born November 19, 1926. While living in Clifton, she met her future husband Vincent Cervantez at the El Charro when he would come in for coffee. They married a short time later. Isabel enjoyed taking evening walk, gardening, visiting with friends and family on the telephone, knitting, reading and praying for others. She had a deep love for her family and loved to make the family dinners. Isabel is survived by her children Vincent Jr. of Safford, David (Toni) of Glendale, Jerry (Susan) of Mesa, Harold of San Jose, Annette (Chuck) Romero of Safford, 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, siblings Mary U Aguirre, Terri P. Urrea and Angel (Sylvia) Urrea. She was preceded in death by her parents Jesus & Antonia P Urrea, husband Vincent Cervantez, brothers Jesus M. Urrea, Thomas P. Urrea, Joe P. Urrea and sister Gabrielita Urrea. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 9 a.m. in the St. Rose of Lima Church. Visitation will be Friday evening at 6 p.m. with Rosary service at 7 p.m. at the St. Rose of Lima Church. Isabel will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Safford Cemetery.
