Ivy Baker, a compassionate soul who dedicated her life to working in social services for the healthcare industry, has sadly passed away unexpectedly at her home in Pima, Arizona, on April 30, 2024. She was born on April 24, 1955.
Ivy's journey in life was marked by her unwavering love, care, forgiveness, and loyalty towards those around her. Her warm personality touched many lives as she selflessly served others through her career in Social Services.
Beyond her professional achievements, Ivy found joy in crafting and home decorating - activities that allowed her creativity to flourish and brought happiness to those who knew her.
Among Ivy's proudest accomplishments were adopting Joe & Patsy and sharing a loving marriage with Dave. Her impact as a mother, wife, and friend will be cherished forever by those she leaves behind.
Ivy is survived by her son Joseph (Neda) Baker and daughter Patsy Woody, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, as well as her siblings Ralph (Jackie) Caughie, and Bonnie Dillard.
She is preceded in death by her beloved brothers Robert Coughie, Eldon Coughie, and Harold Allen.
A Memorial Service to honor Ivy's life will be held on May 10, 2024, at 112 E Main St in Safford, Arizona. The service will commence at 2:00 PM as family and friends gather to remember and celebrate the beautiful life of Ivy Baker.
