J. Ted McBride, 88, of Pima passed away March 11, 2015. He was born December 16, 1926 to Ether and Bertha McBride in Glenbar, AZ. Ted was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He served in many capacities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving during WWII. Ted is survived by his children, Nancy Curtis (Charles), Boyce Ted McBride (Diane), Marshall Ron McBride (Gayle) and Ruth Ann Daley (Steve); 15 grandchildren, and 51 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind siblings; Lue McEuen, Lela Watkins, Joyce Layton, Eloise Sudekum, Evelyn Higgins and Keith McBride. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Joy Marshall McBride; parents, Ether and Bertha McBride; brothers Von and Boyce McBride along with his sister Flora John. A viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. with the funeral service being conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 with Bishop Michael Brown officiating, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Pima Chapel located on Hwy 70 in Pima, AZ. Interment will follow in the Pima cemetery.
