James M. Allred, 85, of Thatcher, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020. He was born in Thatcher on March 26, 1934, to parents Joseph W. Allred and Maybell Hoopes Allred and spent his entire life there.
James married his beloved wife Eva on December 23, 1976, in Chihuahua, Mexico, having one daughter, Rhyonda Lee Allred. He was a rancher and a farmer.
Some of his hobbies included checking the water, branding, and anything to do with horses. Two of his favorite life events were taking trips to Mexico and marrying his wife Eva. He was a jokester and loved to scare people.
He is survived by his wife Eva Chacon Allred, siblings; Josephine Stevens (Harold Stevens), Pearl Mulleneux(Jim Mulleneux) and Neva Allred(Gary Allred) and his wife Eva's siblings; Elvira Chacon Ruiz (Gonazalo Ruiz), Soledad Chacon Tarango(Fidencio Tarango), Socorro Chacon and Jesus Manuel Tarango, Paulita Chacon and Jose Rivero, Maria Chacon (Merced Chacon Estrada), and Jose Chacon Estrada (Belen Chacon).
He was preceded in death by his Daughter Rhyonda Lee Allred, his siblings; Eloise Housholder (Veron Housholder), Delbert Allred(Nita Allred), Elaine Hawkins(Ike Hawkins), Roxie Dowdle(Earl Dowdle), Pete Allred(Fay Allred), Harold Stevens(Josephine Stevens), Jim Mulleneux(Pearl Mulleneux) Derryl Allred, and Gary Allred(Neva Allred). Also by his wife's siblings; Estella Chacon and Leonardo Ortega, Felizidad Chacon and Hernandez and Jose Angel Hern, Emma Chacon and Arnulfo Hernandez, Gonazalo Ruiz (Elvira Chacon Ruiz), Fidencio Tarango(Soledad Chacon Tarango), Merced Chacon Estrada(Maria Chacon), and Belen Chacon(Jose Chacon Estrada).
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 10 A.M. at McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel
